For example, we perform orthopaedic surgery but we are also specialised in dental treatments, ultrasound and dermatology. What makes Dierenkliniek Vondelpark unique is its experience and expertise in laparoscopic surgery. Our veterinarians Babette Ravensbergen and Elsje Peletier can tell you all about it. Our latest equipment allows us to perform keyhole surgery even better. This new technique ensures a faster procedure, less pain after surgery and less risk of complications. A visit to the veterinarian is not most pets’ favorite outing. For cats in particular, it can be a stressful experience. They find it difficult when taken out of their familiar environment. To help them feel as safe as possible, our team specializes in providing high-quality feline medicine. We are proud to call ourselves a Cat Friendly Clinic!
Our team has completed specialized training in feline medicine. They treat your cat with the right expert care and attention. In addition, we have special equipment designed for cats. We have also taken measures within our practice: with a separate entrance, consultation, and waiting room specially designed for cats, we provide a safe environment. This prevents cats from coming into contact with dogs or other animals.
Our special waiting room is equipped with cat parking spaces. A soft blanket is ready for your cat, and throughout the clinic we use Feliway’s calming pheromones. In this way, we make the experience as pleasant as possible!
In Amsterdam, we also have a clinic dedicated exclusively to cats: Kattenkliniek Sarphatipark.
Housevisits
Do you prefer your pet to stay in their familiar surroundings? Or is it difficult for you to come to one of our clinics? Within a radius of about 4 km from our practices, we are happy to visit you at home! As one of the few veterinary clinics in Amsterdam South, we still offer house visits. This way, we make the experience as pleasant as possible for both you and your pet.
