Anne Reijne

Hi,

I am Anne Reijne, companion animal veterinarian and started working at De Dierenkliniek in October 2023; I usually work at the locations Dierenkliniek Vondelpark and Dierenkliniek Spaarne. I graduated in Utrecht in 2007 and still really enjoy our beautiful profession. My first few years I also treated horses, but dogs and cats eventually attracted me more.

Pretty soon, I started focusing on dog and cat dentistry. Improving the oral health of your pet is incredibly rewarding work. After all, they often show pain in their mouths so badly that they are sometimes reborn after surgery. I attended 3 courses in Sweden and further focused on dental surgery and in the last course also root canal treatments. I was admitted to the WVT in 2023; members of the WVT have specialised in dentistry more than the average veterinarian. To be admitted, a veterinarian must show that they have sufficient knowledge and expertise in the field of veterinary dentistry.

I am married to Mattijs and also have a little terrorist of a cat running around at home called Bandit. When I am not at the practice, I enjoy all kinds of water sports like kite surfing or wing foiling, but I also like to be on my bike or sipping a good glass of wine.
